Social and individual vices of slander
Ill- effects of slander in social view: Slander causes great vices in
social view: 1- When slander is spread in the society, it destroys one ofthe
greatest social capitals which is the spirit of brotherhood, unity and
intimacy, and ruins the foundations of good opinionand public confidence which
is the first requisite of socialcoop eration.
As outspread of slander causes the people to become aware ofhidden weak
points of each other, and since most of people arenot free from any weak point,
knowing them spreads suspicionin the society, and this pessimism and suspicion
annihilates thespirit of cooperation and collaboration, and the society will
bedeprived from all of its concerned blessings, and practicallyind ividuals are
subjected to" social seclusion".

«لا تَحاسَدُوا وَ لا تَباغَضُوا وَ
لا يَغْتَب بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضاً وَ كُونُوا عِبادَ اللَّهِ اخْواناً».
